French Riviera Map

Welcome to Côte d’Azur and the French Riviera!

The French Riviera, also referred to as the Côte d’Azur is the area that stretches along the Mediterranean in the south of France. In this French Riviera map, you can find all the cities, villages, principalities, metropolitan areas, and seaside resorts, with the largest cities on the French Riviera, pinpointed.

Since the Côte d’Azur has no official borders, this French Riviera map has no clear borderlines of where the French Riviera begins and ends. The broadest definition, however, is that the French Riviera begins at the France-Italy border, with Menton being the last town, to the city of Toulon or Cassis.

In this French Riviera map, however, the last town in the west that is marked is Ramatuelle.

Is Nice on the French Riviera?

A common question that is asked is if Nice is located on the French Riviera. The answer is yes, and it can be seen in this French Riviera map. Nice is among the largest cities on the Côte d’Azur, and if you look at the map below, you can see that Nice is located almost exactly in the absolute middle of this French Riviera map.

The French Riviera is not to be mixed with the Italian Riviera, which is the area on Italian soil which stretches along the Mediterranean.

The cities marked in the French Riviera map below are the largest, most famous, and most significant cities and towns, and these include Ramuelle, Port Grimaud, Saint-Tropez, Saint-Maxime, Esterel, Théoule-sur-Mer, Cannes, Mougins, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Grasse, Biot, Nice, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Èze, Cap-d’Ail, La Turbie, Monaco, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and Menton.
